In 2009 Jaclyn was the recipient of a CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award from the Vancouver International Jazz Festival. She has toured throughout Europe, Canada and the United States and has performed in some of the most recognized jazz clubs and festivals with sold out shows at Birdland, The Yardbird Suite, Cory Weeds’ Cellar Jazz Club, The Rex Jazz Club, Hermann’s Jazz Club and the Beat Niq Jazz Club.
Her tours include New York, Moscow, Puerto Vallarta, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Portland and Toronto. She has studied with the likes of Nancy King, Sheila Jordan and Vancouver’s Jennifer Scott. Her vocal influences run the gamut from Joni Mitchell to Dinah Washington.
Joining Jaclyn will be Kristian Alexandrov on piano, Jeremy Coates on bass and Tyler Hornby on drums.
